Transport Schrauwen, an international transport company from Essen, and DKV Mobility have entered into a partnership to install 100 4G Boxes in phases. Transport Schrauwen and DKV Mobility have been working together for more than 15 years on the toll solution, to everyone’s satisfaction. The introduction of the updated 4G Box, which is being prepared for the Dutch kilometer tax, marks a new phase in that collaboration. Transport Schrauwen, located near the Dutch border, does not want to miss this boat and has therefore resolutely opted for the new and intuitive toll box throughout Europe.
BOX EUROPE: one intuitive toll box for Europe
The DKV BOX EUROPE supports the EETS (European Electronic Toll Service) and makes the lives of Belgian transporters easier. With a new layout, the 4G Box is now even more intuitive. Thanks to this smart solution, transporters handle tolls throughout Europe, with just one device and one contract partner. No more hassle with different toll boxes or administrations: with the DKV BOX EUROPE everything is arranged automatically.

Ready for the Dutch kilometer tax
The Netherlands is expected to introduce a kilometer charge for trucks from 3.5 tonnes from July 1, 2026. Both domestic and foreign transporters then pay per kilometer driven on all highways and a number of provincial and municipal roads. The Eurovignette will disappear and motor vehicle tax will be reduced. The DKV BOX EUROPE is being prepared for these new regulations, so that all transporters in the Netherlands can meet their obligations smoothly and automatically.
