Daimler Truck Holding AG has just announced its first quarter 2026 results. The most striking aspect is the spectacular increase in the order book, especially in the United States but also in Europe.
The number of new orders increased by 50% to 114,043 units. The increase is particularly spectacular in North America (+86% compared to last year), but this is partly explained by the very poor market performance in the first quarter of 2025. Orders at Mercedes-Benz Trucks have increased by 33% compared to the first quarter of 2025, which mainly reflects the good dynamics in the European market.
