Scania Belgium has perhaps brought in the most beautiful deal of the Matexpo fair: the Swedish manufacturer has sold no fewer than 35 tractors to Trba-Tramotrans, a company of the Stadsbader group that had no longer had Scanias in his fleet.
The order concerns 35 tractors equipped with an R-cabin and the V8 engine of 770 hp, the most powerful in the Scania range. Gedelegeerd bestuurder Pierre Stadsbader legde ons de redenen voor zijn keuze uit: “We zijn altijd op zoek naar goede chauffeurs. We zoeken mensen die gepassioneerd zijn en toegewijd aan hun vak. Naast onze eigen vloot van 110 voertuigen doen we een beroep op onderaannemers, maar we willen bepaalde diensten meer internaliseren. Het gaat er ook om de goede chauffeurs die we hebben aan ons te binden. Daarom lanceren we een campagne met als thema ‘We Have the Best Trucks for the best drivers’ and it turned out that Scania remains the favorite brand of our drivers on the other hand.
The 35 new tractors are therefore partly a replacement investment and partly an extension of the fleet. They will be used to supply machines and raw materials to the road construction projects in which TRBA tramotrans specializes. The first copies are delivered before the end of 2025.
