Must read

Who will be the new CEO of Port of Antwerp-Bruges? The Dutchman Rob Smeets, who has been filling the job on an interim basis since Jacques Vandermeiren announced his retirement on April 14 and who has been working at the Port Authority since 2015? Or one of the more than 50 other candidates who have since entered, according to the Gazet van Antwerpen? Registrations closed on Monday, May 25.

The application process will be completed at the end of June, so that the new CEO of Port of Antwerp-Bruges should be announced at the beginning of July. According to the job description, the new port boss must “of course maintain the existing greening policy, just like the initiated energy transition, but must always take economic feasibility into account.”
