Iveco has entered into a partnership with PlusAI to deploy heavy trucks with Level 4 Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) in Southern Europe. This will be done in collaboration with the Spanish logistics operator Sesé and the government of Aragon, Spain.
Iveco and PlusAI will develop two S-Way trucks equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving functions, powered by the PlusAI SuperDrive™ virtual driver. They will be tested for several years, with a safety operator remaining on board. Sesé will deploy them on a freight corridor of approximately 300 km between Madrid and Zaragoza.
