Apollo Tyres EcoVadis Gold Rating Earned

Apollo Tyres has achieved a Gold Rating from EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 5% of businesses worldwide for sustainability practices. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Apollo Tyres EcoVadis Gold rating reflects substantial improvements in all these areas, the company said.

Apollo’s overall performance climbed to the 95th percentile in fiscal year 2025. That’s a jump from the 92nd percentile the year prior. Over the past five years, its score increased from 41 to 76.

Gains in Ethics and Labor Practices

Among the four EcoVadis categories, Apollo Tyres made significant strides in Ethics and Labour and Human Rights. Scores rose from 50 to 63 and from 70 to 80, respectively. The company’s top score came in the Environment category, where it earned 85 points. Sustainable Procurement received a solid 71 points.

“The manifold improvement in our Environment, Ethics and Labour and Human Rights scores was driven by focused initiatives such as enhanced environmental management practices, strengthened ethics and compliance programs, and the implementation of inclusive labour policies,” said Sunam Sarkar, President and Chief Business Officer, Apollo Tyres. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams. They have worked tirelessly to integrate sustainable practices throughout our operations.”

Apollo Tyres EcoVadis Gold Recognition

The Apollo Tyres EcoVadis Gold rating is a result of sustained efforts to enhance environmental management, uphold ethical standards, and promote workplace inclusivity, it said.

EcoVadis awards a Gold rating to companies that rank in the top 5% globally and reserves Platinum for the top 1%. Silver and Bronze ratings go to companies in the top 15% and 35%, respectively.

Apollo Tyres’ overall score of 76 confirms its efforts in addressing climate change, human rights, and ethical business conduct. The company said it remains committed to pushing its sustainability agenda forward across all business areas.
