GXO Logistics has appointed Bart Beeks as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will start in this new position on January 2, 2026, in which he will be responsible for the global operational excellence agenda. He reports directly to CEO Patrick Kelleher.
Bart Beeks comes from CEVA Logistics, where he grew from intern to Chief Operating Officer. In that position he was responsible for operations in more than 170 countries. He has extensive experience in operational management, implementation excellence and building high-performance teams. As COO at CEVA, he achieved, among other things, an improvement in operating margin and revenue growth, and led the integration of several acquisitions. Before his career in logistics, Beeks was active as a commander in the Dutch Special Forces.
According to Kelleher, the appointment is an important step to further strengthen GXO’s operating model. “Execution and growth go hand in hand. Bart brings exceptional operational experience and proven leadership, allowing us to consistently scale our strengths across our global network,” said the CEO. The focus is on further increasing productivity, efficiency and added value for customers.
