At the end of November, Toyo Tire Corporation announced that it has joined the Global Data Service Organisation for Tyres and Automotive Components (GDSO), an international non-profit association promoting standardization and access to data related to tyres and automotive components. As a member of GDSO, Toyo Tire reports that it will “advance its initiatives to promote industry standards for data related to tires to establish individual tyre identification and traceability.”
