Information about the UK truck tyre market that we’ve gathered over the years shows that Hankook has taken the largest slice of pie for more than a decade. In the September 2014 issue of Tyres & Accessories, we declared Hankook a “new UK commercial vehicle tyre market leader,” with Hankook at the time crediting its “top of the line high quality Hankook product portfolio,” an “experienced and motivated sales team,” as well as a “loyal customer base” for this achievement. A decade on, and little has changed. Hankook still occupies the top spot for commercial vehicle tyre sales, and when speaking with UK Sales Manager (TBR) Jon Cottrell, he makes it clear that all three factors still play a key role.
