Teijin Aramid chief executive officer (CEO) Peter ter Horst will step at the end of 2025, after 19 years of dedicated service. Effective 1 October 2025, Taiichi Machida will take over as CEO.
According to the company, Peter ter Horst has played a pivotal role in guiding Teijin Aramid “through both prosperous and challenging times”. Over the past 5.5 years as CEO, he led the company through the COVID-19 pandemic, a major fire at the Delfzijl site, and the current organizational. Ter Horst will remain with Teijin Aramid until December to support a smooth transition.
