Aperia Technologies announced an agreement with Goodyear for its global Goodyear Tires-as-a-Service (TaaS) solution. The solution will now integrate Aperia’s Halo Connect i3.
Goodyear Tires-as-a-Service combines Goodyear’s tires, continuous monitoring, predictive insights, and service footprint into a subscription-based model. This model helps fleets save time and improve total cost of ownership through outsourced tire management, the company said. Commercial and last-mile delivery fleets have responded well to the solution’s efficiency and downtime reduction. Some of Goodyear’s long-haul customers reported an average of 3% fuel savings and over 50% fewer breakdowns.
