Together with Suas Ecology, Pyrum Innovations will set up a pyrolysis tyre recycling plant in Czechia. Suas will hold a 51 per cent stake in the Suas reTire s.r.o. joint venture while Pyrum will invest 8.6 million euros to take a 49 per cent share. The facility will be built in Vřesová, near the German-Czech border, and is expected to enter operation in 2027 with a capacity to recycle 22,000 tonnes of used tyres per year. A ten-year purchase agreement for the pyrolysis oil produced at the plant is already in place.
