There’s no suggestion that it will have the same impact on manufacturing that JLR has recently experienced, in the last few days Renault UK has confirmed that some customer data has been stolen in a cyber-attack that targeted a third-party data processor.
The carmaker said the data that had been accessed by the cyber-attack included some or all of: customer names, addresses, dates of birth, gender, phone number, vehicle identification numbers and vehicle registration details.
