On these shores, Prometeon has increasingly been bringing its eponymous brand name to the fore. However, in China the industrial and commercial tyremaker has shown signs of moving in a slightly different direction. On 6 November 2025, Prometeon officially debuted a new Chinese brand name, “百得安 (Bai De An)”. The introduction took place at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) where Yang Shihao, vice president of Sinochem Holdings, was present at the ceremony and delivered a speech.
