Kumho Tire has confirmed plans to build a new factory in Poland. In a notification submitted to the Korea Exchange, the tyre maker reports having earmarked KRW 860.6 billion (£442.6 million / US$585.6 million) for a passenger and light commercial vehicle tyre plant in Opole, in the country’s south. The Kumho Tire Board of Directors approved the project yesterday.
