With the electric reach truck ETV 216i, the autonomous mobile robot EAE 212a (photo) and the electric walk-on pallet AME 18, Jungheinrich has won three Red Dot Design Awards 2026 in the Product Design category. The international jury awarded these devices for their excellent design, functionality and future-oriented character.
The ETV 216i distinguishes itself with a compact design in which lithium-ion technology is fully integrated. Thanks to the excellent 360° visibility and the ergonomic workplace, the truck is particularly suitable for efficient use in cramped warehouse environments.
With the EAE 212a, Jungheinrich focuses heavily on automation. This autonomous mobile robot combines a compact design with intuitive interaction between man and machine, making it flexible to use in existing logistics processes. Both this robot and the ETV 216i have previously been awarded an iF Design Award 2026.
The AME 18 completes the trio. This walk-on pallet stands out because of its robust, user-friendly design and compact dimensions. In combination with lithium-ion technology, this makes it suitable for use in a variety of applications, from retail to production and loading and unloading activities.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious design prizes worldwide and has recognized products that excel in design quality since 1955.
