The Belgian branch of DFDS Logistics has registered 8 new electric trucks in the past twelve months. That is why it was awarded the Zero Emission Truck Trophy 2025 on the Zero Emission Xperience organized by TransportMedia.
However, the largest number of new electric trucks is attributed to Coca-Cola Enterprises Belgium, but that company already won the Trophy in 2023 and therefore it was logical to reward another company for its efforts in the field of decarbonization.
The electric trucks that have been used at DFDS Logistics in Ghent are part of an order placed by the Danish parent company at Volvo Trucks. They are used for the Volvo Trucks factory in Ghent.
