Bpost places hundredth Bbox at Q8

Must read

Bpost put its hundredth Bbox into use at a Q8 gas station this week. The milestone was celebrated at the Q8 station in Jumet, near Charleroi. By the end of the year, bpost and Q8 want to double the number of Bboxes at Q8 locations to 200.

By 2026, bpost wants to install more than a thousand additional Bboxes in Belgium. Consumers can collect or send parcels around the clock via these parcel lockers.

According to bpost, the principle of ‘one stop shopping’ is playing an increasingly important role in the choice of new locations. Belgians like to combine picking up or sending a parcel with daily trips, such as commuting, shopping or refueling and loading. Petrol stations therefore appear to be particularly suitable locations for parcel lockers.

Bpost and Q8 have now jointly selected 200 suitable locations, accounting for almost half of all Q8 stations in Belgium.
