Must read

On International Men’s Day, Ben introduced its new men’s health awareness training to address physical, emotional and psychological challenges affecting men. With 82 per cent of the automotive workforce being male and one in five men in the UK dying before 65, the initiative aims to spark supportive conversations and improve wellbeing across the sector.

The course is open to all automotive employees, including managers and all genders. Key benefits include insights into men’s health risks, strategies for resilience, confidence-building, and guidance on recognising and supporting men’s wellbeing. Participants also gain tools for holding constructive conversations and access to a comprehensive resource toolkit. Training is available both face-to-face and virtually for flexibility.

This programme forms part of Ben’s wider training suite, alongside Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and an upcoming Women’s Health Awareness course. Profits from BenTraining fund free, confidential health and wellbeing support for automotive employees and their families.

Julie Hayes, specialist services lead, emphasised the importance of breaking the silence around men’s health and empowering teams to thrive. Ben invites employers to invest in this training to build stronger, more resilient workforces.
