Bandag, a global leader in tyre retreading solutions, has partnered with Tegeta Motors and Bridgestone MEA to establish the first Bandag retreading factory in the Caucasus region. Located in Rustavi, Georgia, the Tegeta Bandag Factory represents a major step towards expanding sustainable mobility practices across the region. Backed by an initial investment of US$2 million, the facility is expected to produce up to 5,000 retreaded tyres annually, with plans to double capacity within five years. Construction will commence this year, with completion targeted for late 2026.
