Mitas is launching the Agriterra ULTRA tire, engineered for a broad range of agricultural applications. Designed for use on trailers, spreaders, slurry tankers, and transport vehicles, the new tire aims to set a new benchmark for strength and reliability in the field and on the road, Mitas said.
The Agriterra ULTRA tire features a reinforced structure that reduces internal stress and limits heat buildup during operation, Mitas said. The manufacturer tested the tire under demanding conditions to confirm its performance, especially in load-heavy and high-speed scenarios.

Its redesigned ULTRA construction and advanced compounds ensure exceptional durability and reliability,” said Roberta D’Agnano, Global Brand Director Mitas at Yokohama TWS.
The first available size will be 560/60R22.5TL IMP 165D, with additional sizes to follow throughout the year.
Agriterra ULTRA Soil Protector Adds VF Technology
Alongside the standard version, Mitas will introduce a specialized variant, the Agriterra ULTRA Soil Protector. This version incorporates VF (Very High Flexion) technology, increasing load capacity by up to 40% while allowing for lower inflation pressures.
The lower pressure expands the tire’s footprint, improving ground protection and supporting optimized crop yields. A rounded shoulder design minimizes turf damage, offering better performance on grassland and in wet field conditions.
Mitas said the Agriterra ULTRA tire is positioned to be a solution for today’s agricultural operations.
