Vlaeynation opens new warehouses and celebrates double anniversary years

Must read

In Westdorpe, in the middle of the port area of North Sea Port, Vlaeynation has officially opened three new warehouses. This means that the logistics company expands its capacity with 30,000 m² extra storage and processing space, good for an investment of 25 million euros.
The new building responds to the growing demand for logistics solutions, especially for fertilizers. For example, the warehouses are equipped with modern pocket lines for bigbags and 25 kg bags.

The expansion not only reinforces the position of Vlaeynation within North Sea Port, but also fits in with the multimodal assets of the site, which is easily accessible via water, rail and road. In addition, a new road structure and a safe cycle path were constructed together with the port authority.

The opening coincides with two special jubilee: Vlaeynation has been in existence for 180 years this year and celebrates 10 years of presence on the Axelse plain. What started in 1845 as an Antwerp storage and transfer company has today grown into a versatile logistics group with activities in container treatment, transport, expedition and bulk headstroke.
