Last week the Air Cargo Event 2025 took place in Liège, a large networking event for the air freight community. During the award ceremony on the second day, Nicolas Simons (38), founder of EZ Cargo, was named ‘Leader To Watch’ in the Freight Forwarder category.
Nicolas Simons started the activities of EZ Cargo in 2016 … in his attic. Nine years later, EZ Cargo is active from a brand new building on Liege Airport and realizes a turnover of 14 million euros a year with a team of around fifteen people. “It is an enormous honor to receive this prize in the heart of what has since become one of the most important freight nodes in Europe. This recognition is coming my entire team, because every success of EZ Cargo is the result of teamwork,” Nicolas Simons said after receiving his prize.
