B-Close, specialist in forklifts and internal logistics solutions, recently opened the doors of a new location in Tienen and wants to grow internationally.
“We take our name very literally: ‘Be close ‘“CEO Eric Maertens emphasizes.” Proximity is central to our strategy. From Tienen we will serve our customers in Flemish Brabant and Limburg, commercially and on service surface. ” Tienen is strategically on the border of Flemish Brabant and Limburg, near the E40, as an important traffic artery.
International ambitions
The gaze of B-Close now extends beyond the Belgian national borders. The company has had strong growth over the past ten years and aspires to achieve a turnover of 150 million euros by 2030, compared to 110 million euros today. “We want to realize that growth both organically and through acquisitions,” said Eric Maertens. “We look at new acquisition options, both in Belgium and in our neighboring countries. France and Germany are certainly interesting options. We want to be able to take that next step by the end of 2026 or early 2027.”
