Apollo Tyres’ Hungary Facility Achieves ISCC+ Certification for Sustainability

Must read

Apollo Tyres announced that its Hungary facility earned the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Plus (ISCC+) certification. The certification enables Apollo Tyres to monitor and verify sustainable practices across all stages. Be that sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products.

“This certification is an important step forward as we continue to integrate sustainability deeply into our operations,” said Rajeev Kumar Sinha, Chief Manufacturing Officer, Apollo Tyres Ltd. “It aligns perfectly with our ambitious goal of incorporating 40% sustainable raw materials into our products by 2030.”

The ISCC program promotes sustainability in bio-based, renewable, and circular raw materials. By earning this certification, Apollo Tyres said it demonstrates compliance with stringent environmental standards and sets an industry benchmark.

The Apollo Tyres ISCC+ certification follows the company’s recent Gold rating in the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment.
