Third-party logistics provider (3PL) Echo Global Logistics on Monday said it had acquired fellow 3PL FreightSaver in a move to expand its managed transportation client base and expertise.
Freightsaver serves clients across the sectors of full truckload, less than truckload (LTL), expedited, specialized freight, and managed transportation. Headquartered in California, it has locations in Park City, Utah, Rochester, Michigan, Columbus, Ohio, and Temecula, California.
“FreightSaver brings an outstanding reputation for hustle, transparency, and responsiveness— values that mirror Echo’s own,” Dave Menzel, Ppresident and Chief Operating Officer at Echo, said in a release. “By adding the expertise of Ryan Renne and Buster Schwab, who have a proven track record of selling Managed Transportation solutions and building strong client relationships, Echo will continue to drive growth in the Managed Transportation space.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
