Yokohama reports record sales and profit in first-half 2025 results

 Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. has reported first-half 2025 sales revenue of ¥579.2 billion (£2.98 billion, €3.52 billion, $3.89 billion), which represents an increase 10.3 per cent compared with the same period of the previous year. Business profit increased 13.8 per cent to ¥62.1 billion (£319.7 million, €377.2 million, $417.4 million). Both figures are new record highs for first-half results. However, operating profit was ¥54.9 billion (£282.5 million, €333.4 million, $368.9 million), down 2.5 per cent year on year, and profit attributable to owners of parent decreased 23.7 per cent, to ¥35.5 billion (£182.7 million, €215.6 million, $238.6 million).
