Intervest has concluded a real estate transaction with Weert Logistics Parks where WLP sells five logistics sites with a total area of 250,000 m² in Intervest. The transaction of around 300 million euros would be one of the largest ever in the Belgian logistics real estate sector.
All sites involved are located along the E313 motorways (in Tessenderlo and Beringen) and E42 (Gembloux). They are all rented out for a diversified group of first -class tenants. “For Weerts Logistics Parks, this sale is intended to support our continuous growth throughout Europe. The released capital will be reinvested in a portfolio of development projects of more than 1.3 million m² in Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Hungary,” said Yves Weerts, CEO of WLP.
