DKV Mobility launches charging card for e-trucks

Must read

DKV Mobility is launching the DKV +Charge Truck card, specifically intended for fleets with electric trucks. This card provides access to more than 3,000 truck charging points in more than 17 European countries.

The main advantage of the new DKV +Charge Truck card is that it allows both refueling of conventional fuels and charging of electric vehicles. This allows mixed fleets to manage their energy needs with a single card and on one unified bill.

DKV Mobility has also certified the 3,000 charging locations for electric trucks: clear height of at least four meters, access roads of at least 2.70 m, sufficient maneuvering space for vehicles of at least nine meters in length. More than 80% of the 3,000 locations offer a charging capacity of more than 300 kW. All information about these stations (including the price) is available in the DKV Mobility app. Tim Dambor, Director of E-mobility Roaming Product Management at DKV Mobility, adds: “What is most important for electric truck drivers and carriers is reliability. Our verified network and our real-time overview in the app guarantee that the nearest charging point is accessible and that the vehicle can actually be charged there.”
