Transport Louwyck specializes in: covered and refrigerated transport. The family business from Komen is also increasingly focusing on logistics and has just taken additional warehouse space into use. In addition, its own truck fleet was also expanded.
“This is an important step in the further professionalization of our logistics activities. Where we previously offered storage and transshipment on 1,000 m², we took on 4,200 m² of additional warehouse space at the beginning of April. This increases our capacity to 5,000 pallet places. With this expansion we are directly responding to the growing demand for reliable storage options and a smoother flow of goods. The additional capacity enables Transport Louwyck to offer customers an even more complete package of services. and to anticipate fluctuations in the market more quickly. We hereby confirm our healthy ambition to continue to grow in a controlled manner and further strengthen our position in the region,” explains Maxime Louwyck.
This is not the only good news from Komen: Transport Louwyck has also purchased 11 new Mercedes ProCab Bigspace 1948LS tractors. This investment partly serves to replace the fleet but also to expand it. “This choice underlines our vision to continue working with our own equipment, which guarantees a high degree of quality and flexibility for the customer,” says Maxime Louwyck.
