Growth company Xwift, specialized in express transport, is a partner of this year’s TL Hub Business Game. “It is an excellent initiative to reach young talents and make them enthusiastic about the sector,” says director analytics & operational strategy Senne Keuppens.
“Over the past three years we have made about 14 acquisitions, which has increased the company’s size by approximately fivefold to around a thousand employees,” he continues. “That brings with it a lot of challenges. On the one hand, we have to look for solutions every day for the integration of all those companies. On the other hand, we are actively looking at how we can, for example, give analysis a greater role in our organization. And how we can encourage young people to do so in the transport sector. This TL Hub Business Game is certainly an opportunity in that regard.”
In addition to drivers, planners and dispatchers, Xwift is also looking for employee profiles with strong analytical skills. “We have a lot of operational expertise in-house, often from people who have been on the floor or at the wheel themselves,” Senne Keupens explains. “But we now also want to use that knowledge numerically. There are still many opportunities in that complex environment. We are looking for employees who can analyze data and translate it into insights.”
Playing pool with colleagues
“We have a very open and fairly flat structure,” adds business analyst Quinten Fortie. “Our CEO speaks to everyone. We combine hard work with fun: having a drink together on Friday, for example, or playing pool in the afternoon with colleagues from different departments. That creates a strong atmosphere between colleagues.”
Newly graduated or not, at Xwift cultural fit and motivation are especially crucial. “We like to invest in training and also give young candidates the opportunity to develop,” Senne Keuppens emphasizes. “The transport sector is complex, but that is precisely why you can learn a lot quickly,” adds Quinten Fortie. “Certainly for analytical profiles, this is an environment where you will find a lot of challenge and satisfaction.”
Xwift is working on building the case for this Business Game, which will be released in mid-September.
Together with them we look forward to your registration!
