From April 15 to 23, the Milence fast charging network is organizing a demo tour between Paris and Berlin, over a distance of 1,000 kilometers. MAN participates in this with an eTGS Ultra, which is the only electric tractor on the market with a coupling height of 953 mm, making large-volume transport possible with semi-trailers with an interior height of 3000 mm and a volume of up to 100 m3. “Our vehicles and our services such as MAN Charge&Go are ready, but the rollout of public charging infrastructure across Europe still needs to be accelerated. Milence is already making an important contribution to this, but other players must also commit and appropriate policy measures must be taken,” said Friedrich Baumann, member of the board of directors responsible for sales and customer solutions at MAN Truck & Bus. The convoy will stop at Milence charging stations, including those in Ghent and Maasmechelen in Belgium.
