Logistics service provider Dachser has achieved growth again in 2025: turnover increased by 3.1% to 8.3 billion euros, while the volume transported also increased. In Belgium, turnover increased by 5.7% to 152.8 million euros.
Tonnage grew by 5.8% at group level to 46.7 million tonnes and the number of shipments increased by 3.6% to 86.2 million. According to CEO Burkhard Eling, this growth shows the resilience of the business model, especially given the stagnation in Europe and the uncertainty in global trade.
The main driver behind the growth was the Road Logistics division, where turnover increased by almost 7% to 6.9 billion euros. Within this branch, European Logistics exceeded the 5 billion euro mark for the first time, while Food Logistics recorded the strongest growth with an increase of more than 10%.
The evolution at Air & Sea Logistics was less positive. Due to falling rates, especially on the Asia-Europe route, turnover fell by 12.6% to approximately 1.4 billion euros.
Dachser will invest approximately 325 million euros in network expansion, digitalization and sustainability in 2025. By 2026, the company wants to invest more than 350 million euros to further strengthen its competitive position.
