Within a speech at Autotrader’s “The Road Ahead” automotive retail event on 7 March, GM Automotive researcher and former Rimstock board member, Glenn Mercer suggested tyre services will play a key role in the car parc’s transition to electric vehicles. Furthermore, he named tyres as a substitute for oil changes, playing a strategic role in returning to customers to the point of sale.
