ATI and Technic One inaugurate autonomous warehouse WH4.0

Must read

The companies ATI – Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Technic One Engineering yesterday presented the new autonomous warehouse concept WH4.0, a fully automated logistics solution of the latest generation that should significantly improve the organization of goods flows in industrial environments.

Central to the system is an extra flat and multi-directional AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). “This mobile robot is designed to function in complex industrial environments,” explains Sales Manager Philippe Leclercq from ATI – Eiffage Énergie Systèmes out. “With a height of only 280 mm and a payload of 1,500 kg, it can drive under loads, lift them and transport them completely autonomously.

The AGV can operate in production zones as well as in multi-level logistics racks. This creates an automated connection between production and storage. Multi-directional mobility also allows the system to operate more efficiently in confined spaces, enabling the development of more compact and flexible warehouses.

The project is the result of a collaboration between ATI and Technic-One. The solution was developed to meet the growing demands that European industrial companies face, including in terms of productivity, flexibility and space utilization.

Support
Logistics in Wallonia

The development of this warehouse concept WH4.0 received support from Logistics in Wallonia and was partly financed by the Walloon Region. This support allowed both companies to build additional expertise in mobile robotics, logistics automation and the integration of intelligent systems.

In this video from Logistics in Wallonia tell Philippe Leclercq van ATI – Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Xavier Burlon of Technic One Engineering more about the development and possibilities of WH4.0:

“This project illustrates Wallonia’s potential for the development of innovative logistics solutions,” says Managing Director Bernard Piette of Logistics in Wallonia. “At the same time, it is in line with the broader regional ambition to focus on smart industry and logistics of the future.

‘ATI – Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ specializes in energy and industrial automation solutions. Technic One Engineering develops tailor-made logistics and industrial machines.
