‘Roadstars Against Cancer’ will take place for the third time on the Zolder car circuit on Sunday, March 22. For 80 euros, the organization gives 140 regular drivers (driving license B) the opportunity to drive two laps on the Zolder circuit at the wheel of a 40-ton truck, under the supervision of a recognized instructor. All rides have now been sold.
10 trucks are used, including electric vehicles and one LHV (Long Heavy Vehicle). All proceeds go to Kom op tegen Kanker.
The event starts on Sunday, March 22 at 10 a.m. and, in addition to the truck rides, features food trucks, remote-controlled miniature trucks, a racing simulator, a maneuver test with a truck and the SFTL promo streamer.
In addition to some cancer patients, Annick De Ridder (Flemish Minister of Mobility), Margaux Bogaert (radio 2 presenter) and Marc Wauters (former yellow jersey Tour de France 2001) will also drive two laps around the circuit at 11 a.m. at the wheel of a truck.
Transportmedia is one of the main sponsors of ‘ROADSTARS AGAINST CANCER’.
