NAMA Tires reports that it is reinforcing its European passenger car radial (PCR) strategy through the continued development of its Industry 4.0 manufacturing base in Cambodia. The Cambodia PCR project is planned with a total annual capacity of 20 million units at full build-out. Phase 1 is designed for 13.5 million units annually, with Phase 2 adding a further 6.5 million units to form a long-term overseas production foundation. As capacity ramps up in line with market demand and homologation readiness, NAMA’s current annual supply plan from the Cambodia PCR programme is 4.5 million units for international markets, supporting a predictable allocation model for partners.
