Acquiring Flexitallic will significantly broaden Michelin’s sealing portfolio and market reach, notably by increasing access to the aftermarket. Michelin has acquired Houston, Texas-based Flexitallic, which is described as a global leader in sealing solutions “providing high-performance gaskets, sheet products, and specialty filler materials to critical sectors such as energy and the chemical industry”.
