Withofs Bulk Logistics will acquire the Dutch transport company Weltens BV from Geleen on January 1, 2026. This is the second acquisition of the Limburg company in the Netherlands, after Gehlen-Schols Bulk Cargo in 2015.
Weltens BV is a family business that has existed since 1924. It specializes in ADR and non-ADR transport of liquids and also focuses on intermodal transport, just like Withofs. The joint fleet consists of 80 tractors and more than 110 pieces of towed equipment, including ADR tankers, bulk trailers and chassis for ISO tank containers and bulk containers. Weltens also has a branch in Herzogenrath, Germany, a stone’s throw from the German-Dutch border near Kerkrade.
