Amerit Fleet Solutions has expanded into London as part of a broader international growth strategy, establishing its first operation outside North America, Amerit announced Jan. 21.

The move marks a significant step for the California-based fleet maintenance provider as it works to support customers seeking consistent service across borders. According to the company, the launch also accompanies a major expansion of its partnership with a U.S. customer involved in developing and deploying autonomous vehicle networks.

Amerit said the new location extends its operational model, which centers on standardized maintenance practices and data-driven fleet management. The company noted that customers can expect the same processes and reliability used across its North American network as it moves into Europe.

London was chosen as the company’s initial overseas site because of its position as a major transportation and commercial center, Amerit said. The operation is intended to serve as a foundation for additional international work as the company evaluates opportunities across Europe.

“Expanding to Europe is an exciting opportunity for the team at Amerit to take our customer-focused solutions into a new market,” CEO Ross Rachey said in the announcement. “Our customers are operating across borders, and Amerit is evolving alongside them. Establishing a presence in London allows us to lay the foundation for future European growth while delivering the same operational excellence our customers expect.”

Chief Commercial Officer Bob Brauer said the London site will support Amerit’s long-term growth efforts overseas. “London is our first European operation, and it will serve as a strategic platform for evaluating opportunities across Europe,” Brauer said. “We see significant opportunity to bring our fleet expertise to organizations around the world.”

Amerit said it will continue assessing additional international markets based on customer needs and long-term objectives.
