MB Groupe, specialized in transport, goods handling, logistics, sheet metal work and industrial solutions, continues its development in Wallonia (with a new depot in Flémalle) and is now focusing on the Flemish market. On the eve of its 40th anniversary, the Thimister-based company also announces 11 million euros in investments in new machines.
In addition to its head office in Thimister, MB Groupe also has a depot in Fleurus, from which it covers the entire province of Hainaut. It also had a branch in Wandre to serve the Liège region, but that depot quickly became too small. Thanks to a new depot in Flémalle and the recruitment of Fabien Marichal as commercial manager for Liège, MB Groupe now has the resources to realize its ambitions.
In addition, MB Manutention recently recruited Bart Kinat as Sales Manager Major Projects to develop the Dutch-speaking market, particularly in Limburg and Flemish Brabant. Bart Kinat has 27 years of experience in industrial relocations and has worked at Convoi, IMMS and Samoco, among others.
Finally, MB Groupe continues its investment policy at a rapid pace. In 2025 alone, no less than 11 million euros will be invested in, among other things, five new cranes for MB Manutention and two new crane trucks from 70 up to and including. MB Groupe’s fleet now includes 225 tractor units and 100 semi-trailers.
The investments also relate to digitalization and strengthening the skills of the workforce. Christophe Tasset, Managing Director of MB Groupe, says: “Our ambition is to build a leading Belgian group that combines complementary expertise and is able to innovate, train and radiate far beyond our regional borders. We also want to consolidate a family business that combines regional roots with national ambition, based on the collective power to create a human, to grow an ambitious and resolutely future-oriented group.”
