Mailing and shipping solution provider Auctane on Wednesday picked a veteran Amazon executive as its chief strategy officer (CSO), saying he would lead corporate development, strategic partnerships, carrier relationships and strategy, and cross-border solutions.
The Austin, Texas-based company named Josh Steinitz as CSO, with Auctane CEO Al Ko saying: “Josh’s extensive background in corporate development and strategic partnerships, as well as his deep understanding of global logistics and technology will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and forge strong connections to expand our offerings to customers around the world.”
Before joining Auctane, Steinitz led corporate business development for Amazon Worldwide Operations, managing strategic partnerships and investments in fulfillment, logistics, and transportation across Amazon’s global supply chain. He was instrumental in launching Amazon Logistics, expanding Amazon Air, and driving sustainability efforts across the business, including partnerships with companies like Rivian, Stellantis, ATSG, PlugPower, DHL, and others.
Steinitz’ team also led commercial relationships and investments in digital mapping, EV charging, parcel delivery, robotics and autonomy, and supply chain software, among other sectors. Previously, he spent nearly two decades in the travel industry, working in executive roles at Revinate, NileGuide, and Away.com.
Auctane says it provides intelligent mailing and shipping solutions to global logistics companies, enabling them to optimize time, energy, and resources through Auctane brands including ShipStation, Stamps.com, Packlink, ShippingEasy, ShipWorks, Endicia, GlobalPost, and Metapack.
