The Commercial Court of Lille today opened a judicial reorganization procedure for Ziegler France. This gives the logistics player protection against its creditors and starts an observation period under the supervision of the court.
During this period, Ziegler France continues its activities with the support of two appointed judicial administrators, Master Laurent Miquel and Master Vincent Labis. The company wants to thoroughly analyze its economic and financial situation, restructure debts and develop a sustainable recovery plan.
Ziegler France points to a difficult market environment with rising energy and fuel costs, geopolitical tensions, increasing competition and the loss of contracts, which weighed heavily on liquidity.
The management emphasizes that it is looking for solutions to fulfill its commitments. It is looking at, among other things, the renegotiation of debts, a reorganization of activities and possibly the involvement of industrial or financial partners.
According to the company, legal protection is a necessary step to safeguard the interests of employees, continue to serve customers and ensure continuity in the short term. Current contracts remain in force, subject to court decisions.
