The Belgian Competition Authority (BMA) has approved the acquisition of Industriebouwer Edibo by the Willy Naessens Group. This formally completed the takeover process, which was announced a few months ago.
Edibo, located in Lommel and specialized in industrial steel construction, brings more than 100 employees and a sturdy order portfolio to the group. The Dutch subsidiary Gercek is also part of the acquisition.
The daily management remains in the hands of the former shareholders, Danny Ulenaers and Dirk Paerewijck.
Name
Although Edibo is now an official part of the Willy Naessens Group, the company retains its name, location and management. That must guarantee the continuity and at the same time ensure synergy with the other construction companies within the group.
