Confronted with the choice between continuing with an established brand owned by someone else and convincing customers with product performance and quality, Prometeon Tyre Group chose the latter. In 2024, seven years after forming an independent company out of the former Pirelli Industrial business, Prometeon began extending this independence to its flagship truck and bus tyre range. It was just a matter of convincing fleets that beneath the new name on the sidewall was same tyre they knew and trusted.
