Logistics Real Estate Developer WDP will be included in the AEX index of Euronext Amsterdam from 22 September. This accession is due to the expansion of the main index from 25 to 30 companies, selected on the basis of market capitalization and liquidity.
Since the entry into the Dutch market in 2001, WDP has built up a real estate portfolio of more than 3 billion euros, good for a market share of 6%. This portfolio includes modern logistics buildings at strategic locations in, among others, the Randstad, Noord-Brabant and Limburg, and represents almost 40% of the total portfolio.
CFO Mickael van den Hauwe from WDP emphasizes that entry further enhances access to international capital markets thanks to higher liquidity and visibility. With a total real estate portfolio of more than 8 billion euros, WDP is aiming for further expansion towards a European platform of more than 10 billion euros.
