The Wheel Group (TWG) has named Wade Kawasaki chief executive officer (CEO), effective Aug. 1. Kawasaki has served as executive chairman since October 2022. During that time, he collaborated with company leadership and financial partners to shape a long-term strategy centered on growth, innovation and customer experience, the company said.

The company added that the move to CEO highlights TWG’s commitment to execution and customer-centric leadership. The Wheel Group said it continues to position itself as a leader in the aftermarket wheel industry by reinforcing its focus on growth and operational excellence.

Kawasaki’s appointment represents the next phase in TWG’s long-term plan. Over the past three years, he helped define strategic priorities, strengthen the leadership team, and transform the sales organization to better support dealers and partners, it said.

Wade Kawasaki brings over 30 years of experience in the global automotive aftermarket. He previously served as President and CEO of the Coker Group and as Chairman of SEMA. Recognized for his ability to turn strategic vision into operational outcomes, Kawasaki has a proven record in long-range planning and hands-on leadership.

New Investments Fuel Growth in the Aftermarket Wheel Industry

TWG has launched initiatives designed to strengthen its capabilities and leadership in the aftermarket wheel industry. These investments support improvements across the company’s core operations.
