VIP Tires & Service has received the 2025 WishMaker Award from Make-A-Wish Maine, recognizing the company’s long-standing partnership and contributions to the charity. In 2024 alone, VIP customers and employees raised nearly $330,000, with Executive Chairman John Quirk personally matching the donation.
Since the start of its partnership with Make-A-Wish in 2008, VIP’s total contributions have surpassed $1.6 million.
At the VIP Managers Conference at the Samoset Resort, Make-A-Wish Maine President and CEO Brian Franks presented the 2025 WishMaker Award. During the event, VIP and Make-A-Wish Maine granted a wish for a young boy with cystic fibrosis, sending him on a dream trip to LEGOLAND in Florida.
“VIP Tires & Service is very committed to and involved with every community we serve,” said Quirk. “We’re especially proud to partner with Make-A-Wish each year for the annual Season of Wishes campaign, generating nearly $330,000 in 2024 and over $1.6 million over our 18-year partnership with the charity. Those dollars stay in the communities and states where the money was raised. This makes it a very local contribution.”
VIP Tires & Service is Make-A-Wish Maine’s largest corporate partner. The company’s support now extends beyond Maine into New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. With continued donations, VIP said it aims to bring hope and joy to even more children with critical illnesses.
“We are thrilled to present VIP Tires & Service with our WishMaker Award,” said Franks. “VIP has created a culture of giving that is felt by every team member, at every level. It is energizing to visit their stores during the campaign and see the passion and commitment they have. Not only the Make-A-Wish mission, but for making a difference in their community.”
