VIP Tires & Service announced its Wallingford, CT new location will celebrate its grand opening on Oct. 21. The new store, located at 400 N. Colony St. in New Haven County, marks the company’s latest expansion in Connecticut.
VIP has now fully rebranded the 41-year-old business, formerly known as Wallingford Tire & Auto. The ribbon-cutting event will include company leadership, local officials, and members of the Wallingford community.
VIP Tires & Service said the new Wallingford store features five service bays designed to handle a full range of tire and automotive maintenance needs. Led by store manager Carlos Hernandez, VIP said the shop strengthens its presence in the state.
“VIP is thrilled to officially open our new Wallingford location, a community staple in a wonderful Connecticut town with nearly 45,000 residents,” said Tim Winkeler, VIP’s president and CEO. “Wallingford Tire & Auto has served this community for over four decades.
