VIL, innovation cluster for logistics in Flanders, and Transportmedia are joining forces in an official partnership. “In this way we will inform, inspire and connect logistics professionals even more strongly,” say Liesbeth Geysels, Managing Director of VIL, and Christophe Duckers, Managing Director of Transportmedia.

“We have been connecting professionals in the world of logistics and transport for years through our media, events and content,” adds Christophe Duckers. “VIL’s expertise and strong network fit in perfectly with this.”

Strong community

For VIL, the collaboration means strengthening communication around their innovation projects, themes and events. “Transport media has been a household name in B2B communication for logistics professionals for many years,” emphasizes Liesbeth Geysels. “Next to the magazine ‘Logistics Management’ The Transport & Logistics Awards, where several VIL employees sit on the jury, and the Transport & Logistics Gazellen, for the strongest growers, are also established values. A strong logistics community requires a strong logistics media partner.”

Thanks to this collaboration, Transportmedia becomes an official media partner of VIL. This translates into a structural presence at LogiVille, the experience and demonstration center for logistics innovation, and at the various Logiville events.
Yannick Haesevoets, Television Director at Transportmedia: “With our program Logistics.TV At Trends Z we will now closely monitor the various themes at LogiVille. We will regularly produce specials around these themes, in which participating partners can also share their stories. But our collaboration goes further than just television. We also offer partners the opportunity to produce corporate videos, and we’ll be shooting the next episodes of ours soon Logistics Podcast at LogiVille.”

Themed tours

The collaboration therefore includes television, print, online and audio. “In this way, innovative projects and partners gain strong visibility in the logistics community,” says Dirk Lambrechts, Head Account Management at VIL. “In LogiVille we organize a theme tour twice a year around specific logistics trends and topics. VIL will act as a bridge builder between our theme partners and Transportmedia.”
